Q: I bought the monistat 1 day treatment day or night. I used this while I was at work....I didnt realize until I got on here that perhaps I should have been laying down after i inserted this? Is this is going to mess up the product since I was sitting up all day? I notice then when I stood up there was leakage, but I wasnt sure if the product would still be just as effective?

A: Our day or night product may be taken during the day or in the evening. When using Monistat® as instructed, your symptoms should improve in 3 days and you should be completely cured in 7 days. On average, most women should experience some improvement within three days and complete relief within seven days. This is the same, whether you use a 1- dose product, 3-day product or a 7-day product. We recommend that you contact your doctor if your symptoms do not improve in 3 days or if you still have symptoms after 7 days.
