Q: Because there are many choices of monistat products, i was wondering if either 1, 3, or 5 was recommended over the others for taking during a menstrual period. Instinctively, i would think that the 7 day treatment would be needed because the product would not be the only thing going on down there. Please help. Thanks

Use Monistat® for the recommended treatment period (1 day, 3 days, or 7 days according to the product instructions), even during your period. Do not skip any days. Do not use tampons during the day or at night while you are using an over-the-counter vaginal antifungal as tampons can absorb the medication.
