Pregnancy

Pregnancy

If you're pregnant, it's common to get a yeast infection. This happens because of hormonal changes in the body. When you're pregnant, sugar is produced and secreted more frequently in the vagina. The yeast fungus then feeds off of this sugar.

Yeast infections often occur in the third or last trimester of pregnancy. After delivery, hormone levels dramatically change, and symptoms of yeast infections disappear in a few days because the new vaginal environment does not support yeast growth.

We Recommend:

If you are or think you may be pregnant, speak to your doctor before using any products to treat your symptoms.
